Good Morning my bloggin friends. Sorry haven't had a chance to post these last few days. I did get a few birthday cards, halloween cards, and altered a book this past week. But didn't get a chance to post anything yet. Most of you who know me know how we feel about our dogs. After losing Dixie to breast cancer a couple of years ago we watch them pretty close. Then the news of Ginger being a diabetic. What next. The last year Audie has had this growth on his stomach. The vet didn't want to remove it until it got to big or started bothering him. Well with Gary being home a little more these days I thought it best we do the surgery. We took him in Thursday at noon the surgery took about an hour. The vet called and said it was over we could come see him. But he would have to stay over night so they could keep an eye on him. (I wasn't to happy about it) We drove up to see him and of course he was still out of it but starting to come around. So we left before we woke up. But we did get a chance to see the tumor that was growing inside my baby. A 5 lb fatty tumor. I took pictures (of course) but doubt I will post them here. He did a test on it and no cancer. Praise God! We picked him up early Friday morning and they sent him home with an antibiotic and pain pills. He slept pretty much all day. And by that evening he was himself again.

Today is a beautiful fall day. It is 53 outside and very windy.

Enjoy your day...

On Oct 10 last year I started blogging. I haven't been real good at keeping up. I want to post more pics but my camera is broke and I have had to share with Brittany. There are some cute pics we took this past weekend but her camera is in her car for spirit week at school. Oh well I will try to get them up in the next couple of days. I am making some odds and ends for a few swaps I am trying to finish.

Also my favorite blog post has been circulating around again. It was the first blog I ever posted and I am posting it again today. I never looked at pumpkins in this way. And it is so pumpkin weather here. It was 58 this morning and only getting to 70 today. Gonna be opening the windows in a little while and letting the house air out. Of course the dogs will bark and every leaf that blows but it will be worth it. Have a Blessed Day!

Being a good person is like being a pumpkin.God lifts you up, takes you in, and washes all the dirt off of you.He opens you up, touches you deep inside & scoops out all of the yucky stuff -- including the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc. Then He carves you a bright new smiling face & puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see. This was passed on to me from another pumpkin.

October 8

Good morning. Hope all is well in BlogLand..... Well it finally feels like we may be getting our fall weather. The afternoons have been warm but a low warm. 85-90 with a breeze. And if you are in the shade it is nice. The mornings have been cooler as I said a few days ago however this morning was 45. It was GREAT!! I poured my coffee and it was too cold to sit outside so I am inside reading my daily bloggers today. I am going to clean house today and get all my fall decor up. It is time! And for some reason I am starting to crave Turkey and Dressing.
I am going to start some Thanksgiving recipes and will post them when I finish them.
Everyone have a good day.
